Acigel is an acidic gel cleaner designed for daily and periodic use in the food, beverage and dairy industries.
Acigel is an acid based cleaner which contains a blend of wetting agents and emulsifiers. On dilution with water, a ‘‘thixotropic’’ gel is formed which adheres strongly to surfaces and so increases the contact time available for penetration of soil and scale build-up. The product can be easily rinsed away using a minimum amount of water without leaving any sticky deposits on the surface. Acigel is particularly recommended for the removal of hardened protein residues and water hardness scale. Acigel can be applied as an aerated gel (foam gel) or as a conventional gel and is suitable for use with a wide range of application equipment.
Effective against hardness and protein scale build-up. Can be applied onto heated surfaces. Thixotropic gel provides for maximum contact time. Application as foam gel assists with visibility. Free-rinsing, easy to remove from plant surfaces after use
